Power Refined, Control Delivered

The Old Ghost SPECTAR is driven by the Bafang G510 (M620) mid-drive system — a flagship motor known for its balance, strength, and rock-solid consistency. With a true 1,000W output, built-in torque sensing, and both pedal-assist and throttle capability, it delivers the kind of natural, confident acceleration that cheaper cadence-based setups simply can’t match.

Its torque-sensing pedal assist is the standout. Power adjusts instantly to the pressure of your feet, giving you smooth, predictable drive on climbs and a stable, responsive feel on uneven terrain. Whether you’re tackling steep fire roads, loose trails, or long weekend rides, the motor’s control and refinement give the SPECTAR a performance edge that riders feel from the first turn of the cranks.

Clear, Reliable Display

The DPC010 display provides bright, easy-to-read information even under direct sunlight. With sealed, water-resistant connectors, it shows speed, distance, assist level, and battery life at a glance. The built-in walk-assist mode offers extra support when pushing the bike uphill or through tight spaces, making everyday use simpler and more convenient.

Premium Suspension Performance

The SPECTAR uses a DNM rear suspension system engineered for smooth travel and controlled damping. It absorbs impacts, settles quickly after bumps, and keeps the bike composed on rough sections. Whether you’re rolling through local trails or dropping into more technical terrain, it delivers a stable, comfortable ride with confidence.

Upgraded Braking Control

The latest SPECTAR features a four-piston hydraulic braking system built for serious stopping power. The larger pistons provide stronger bite, more modulation, and improved heat management on long descents. From rough off-road tracks to fast urban riding, the system offers reliable control in all conditions.

  • A SRAM NX 11-speed derailleur and 11–42T cassette pair seamlessly with the motor. Shift detection keeps gear changes smooth and precise under load.

  • The battery unlocks with a simple turn of the key, letting you remove it in seconds for convenient charging anywhere.

  • The SPECTAR uses a detachable grip design for quick maintenance and easy customisation. A few screws are all it takes to remove or replace them.

FAQ'S

What comes in the box?

Your bike arrives 85% assembled with the motor, drivetrain, wheels, tyres, brakes, and electronics already fitted. Inside the box you’ll find the bike, charger, tools for final setup, and a quick-start guide. Most riders are ready to roll in 20–30 minutes.

Do you accept bulk orders?

Absolutely. We fully support bulk and multi-unit orders. Whether you’re ordering for a team, workplace, or retail operation, bulk purchases are completely fine.

Will there be any issues with stock or fulfilment?
In most cases, bulk orders ship without any problems. If we anticipate any delays or stock constraints, we will notify you within one business day of your purchase.

What if I have questions before ordering?
If you have any concerns or want to confirm lead times, reach out to us anytime at support@oldghostbikes.com. Our team will respond promptly.

Do bulk orders include the same shipping and warranty coverage?
Yes. All bulk orders receive the same insured shipping and product support as individual orders.

How does pedal assist work, and what about the thumb throttle?

The SPECTAR uses a torque-sensing pedal assist system that increases power based on how hard you press on the pedals, giving you smooth and natural acceleration on climbs and flat trails. It also includes a thumb throttle, which lets you engage the motor without pedalling — ideal for quick starts, steep hill takeoffs, or when you want to rest your legs. You can use either system at any time, giving you full control over how you ride.

Can I ride this bike without using the motor?

Yes. You can ride it like a normal bike with the motor off. The 11-speed drivetrain gives you full control, and the bike pedals smoothly even without assist.

Is the battery removable?

Yes. The battery can be removed in seconds for convenient charging indoors or at work. Many riders leave the bike in the garage and only take the battery inside.

How far can I ride on one charge?

Up to roughly 105 km depending on terrain, rider weight, assist level, and tyre pressure. Climbing-heavy rides use more power, flatter routes get more range.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

A full charge takes 5–7 hours from empty.

What is the warranty?

All Old Ghost bikes come with a 12-month warranty covering the frame, motor, battery, and electronics. Components like tyres and brake pads follow standard wear-and-tear coverage.
